So, where to begin. Perhaps we begin with Disney, creating a beautiful wedded bliss in front of our three year old eyes. The prince and the princess have a happy wedding complete with a beautiful white gown, that will be an integral part of my barbies wardrobe for sometime, and they live happily ever after.
What they don't show you, is that they probably have an amazing wedding planner and didn't lift a finger themselves! But not today. In today's world, brides are hands-on and proactive about selecting every fine detail that goes into a wedding. Details that no one else would care about but the perfectionist bride striving for the most beautiful day of her life.
And that y'all, leads me to write this blog. To express my feelings about wedding planning and to divulge into all the plans and effort I have put into this wedding since getting engaged on July 6, 2011.
I will take you into the "bride wars" of wedding planning, from family, friends to the nitty gritty details that involve budgets, flowers, dresses, and maids. So allow me to express myself and help me get through this! Only nine more months to go!!
