T-minus 3 MONTHS!

Whoa y'all.. I'm not quite sure where the time has gone!! Last month we celebrated a year since fiance popped the question in Chicago and I can't believe that was OVER a year ago now..

Engagement, Chicago, July 6, 2011

We are really starting to get into crunch time but I feel pretty good. It was my goal from the beginning to get as much done as early as possible and I have done that for the most part. We still have the details we're ironing through but progress has been made in a month!

What's been done since last month:
Invitation proofs are IN and ordering this weekend! sigh.. I DID decide!
Invites will be pre-addressed! WOO!
I got a different pair of wedding shoes - post coming soon
I also purchased my wedding jewelry - officially!
Fiance got measured for his tux yesterday - ordering this weekend?!
Cake deposit was made - working on final look
Met with a wedding planner
Bridal luncheon venue booked
Working on reception details
Had walk through with caterer at venue
Made moss letters for church - thanks mom!
Changed our rehearsal dinner location - post coming soon
Bridesmaid dresses should be in at the end of the month
Spray painting our chalk boards this weekend

To Do:
Purchase bridal party gifts
Work on OOT bags
Design koozies, napkins etc.
Decide on reception menu
Decide on ceremony music
Order invites for bridal luncheon/men's golf day
Finish reception details: plates, linens, etc.
Mail invitations
Complete wedding timeline - pass out to everyone
Choose first dance song
Talk to band and work on reception music
Order my veil
MOB/MOG outfits
Rent tuxedos for the men
Get marriage license
Have my bachelorette party - September 7-9!!
Take my bridal portraits - September 18th!

It's really all coming together and I'm so excited!! It's really crazy to think how soon it is. I was thinking yesterday how I'm ready for the details to be over but I think I'm going to miss being a "bride". But there's nothing more I look forward to than being husband and wife with the best man in the world. (Really, he is!)

Top 10 Weddings: #1

Ok, I know I said these weren't in order but I think this wedding MAY be my favorite.. This and the Paris elopement.. Regardless, I have loved all these weddings but there's something so glamorous about this wedding I can't get over. Perhaps it's because the bride and groom are drop dead gorgeous, the dress is out of this world, they are so insanely happy and the photography is to die for. I can't stop gushing about it. Accidentally I posted this wedding and the last, both by Erin Hearts Court, so obviously I really love their photography. But there's just something I can't put my finger on to why I love this wedding so I'll just show it to you and hope you feel the same way as me.

Thanks for taking this 10 day journey with me too. Sometimes these weddings just get booked marked and never talked about again and I like to point out how amazing these weddings truly are in my mind. I hope that my wedding is just as gorgeous but I realize it's probably not going to look like any of these either! I just wanted to appreciate some truly amazing weddings!

Now what you've been waiting for..
Oh Oscar de la Renta and your beautiful Chantilly lace..
Happiest groom alive <3
LOOOVE her hair piece! So fresh!

I LOOOOVE this photo! Dancing in the street!
I adore these photos from the dance floor.. SO fun and happy!!!
Nothing is more romantic than these next photos.. my heart melts..
Sigh.. Just everything about this wedding is dreamy.. I absolutely LOVE the hotel room photos. It's the perfect ending to a PERFECT night. (Sorry for the mass amount of photos from this wedding too, I just can't get enough of that beautiful couple!!!)

What was YOUR favorite wedding?!

Top 10 Weddings: #2

This wedding is definitely on the rad side. Modern and hip, bright and exciting, but full of love. It even gives nod to one of my favorite things, pumpkins! It's probably the most different of all my favorite weddings so far, but there's just something so unique that I can never get it out of my mind. Plus I love the idea of black and white with pops of color and the bride definitely paid homage to that. I'm also a sucker for a black and white bow tie. The magic behind the camera, Erin Hearts Court, also helps complete the whole picture for me too and I hope you'll enjoy this Halloween wedding with me! It's almost October! Yay!

Such a fun wedding! Love the colors for a bright Monday morning!
